    De-shedding treatment in Gilbert

Remove loose undercoat before it ends up on your couch. Ideal for double-coated breeds in the Arizona heat.

    From $15 add-on

    Who it's for

Double-coated breeds shed their undercoat heavily, especially in spring and fall. That includes Huskies, German Shepherds, Golden and Labrador Retrievers, Australian Shepherds, Corgis, Pomeranians and Australian Cattle Dogs (Blue and Red Heelers).

We never shave double coats for shedding. The coat insulates against Arizona sun, and shaving can damage how it grows back.

    How it works

We start with a de-shedding shampoo and conditioner that loosen the undercoat, then high-velocity dry to blow out loose hair. We finish by hand with undercoat rakes and brushes.

Most owners notice much less hair at home for several weeks. Regular treatments every 6–8 weeks keep shedding under control all year.

    Common questions

    How much does de-shedding cost?

De-shedding starts at $15 as an add-on to any groom or bath. Heavier coats may cost more. We'll tell you before we start.

Will it stop my dog shedding completely?

No. Shedding is natural, but removing the loose undercoat greatly reduces how much ends up around your home.

Should I shave my double-coated dog for summer?

We don't recommend it. A well-brushed double coat helps regulate temperature and protects skin from sunburn.
